It is with grateful hearts and excited minds that we share the announcement of our first ever grant award from Bixbly Land Company! Recently, our CEO presented a proposal to their board on: Intern Educational Impact and Growth. A few weeks later, we were awarded the grant and gifted generous funds that will ensure the retainment, professional growth, personal development, and ongoing work of Frost Fund’s incredibly important interns.

Specifically, this grant award will go completely towards the growth and educational impact of our valuable interns; who work hard (often behind the scenes) to publish educational blog posts, create social media campaigns, support fundraising initiatives, provide new collaborative ideas, and more. 

Why?! Because Frost Fund believes in order to have a strong outwards lasting impact, we must also create a strong and valued team internally. By doing so, our goal of continuing to positively impact the lives of animals and people in the future will be enriched! Being able to financially bless, encourage, and provide new opportunities to our interns will also uphold the operational beliefs we maintain as an organization.

Finally, our interns will be required to report back to Bixby Land Company (and you) in the next 6 months on their own Frost Fund growth projects; which they have been tasked with designing, leading, and carry out! These projects will not only support the mission of Frost Fund, but will help each intern develop their professional skills and build their resumes.
