Wynona is a 2-year-old pittie mix who’s spent over half her life at the Long Beach Animal Care Shelter. That’s more than a year in a shelter — waiting, watching, and still smiling.

She was once adopted… and returned within an hour. Not because she did anything wrong — she was never given a chance to warm up or meet the family dog slowly. No decompression time. No grace. Just heartbreak.

And yet, she’s still the sweetest, silliest goofball you’ll meet. Loves playgroups with other dogs her size. Great with her toys and will entertain herself with her stuffies. Loves car rides and being your sidekick. Has the best smile, soulful eyes, and a happy heart She’s playful, loving, and so ready to be someone’s best friend.
