Will You Take 3 Minutes to Help Us Save Buddy?

Despite going on 10 days of advocacy, we have not had anyone step up to foster or adopt sweet Buddy. And time is starting to run out. So, yesterday I had the idea to make sharing EVEN EASIER for our Frost Fund family (that is you). We have already had 13 people join Buddy’s Red List Rescue Club – which just means they are simply copying and pasting the pre-made caption below with a photo of Buddy to their own social media platforms! (Think, Facebook, Nextdoor, Instagram, YouTube, work colleagues, family text threads etc.)

Would you be the next to join us and possibly be the one to save Buddy’s life this week?

All you have to do is copy and paste the caption below to your preferred social media channels and include the 2 photos as well. You can screenshot them on your phone, or download them using the links below! WE CLEARLY LAY OUT EVERYTHING IN THE CAPTION AND DIRECT ANYONE WITH QUESTIONS TO CONTACT US – SO YOU HAVE TO DO NO ADDITIONAL WORK!

Please, take a moment and consider that your sharing might be what we have been waiting for to connect Buddy with his life-saving adopter or foster. Thank you in advance. Email us at teamfrostfund@gmail.com if you do share so we can give you a shoutout on social media!

Everyone, this is Buddy – an incredibly sweet and friendly terrier mix who has been in the Long Beach shelter for over 110 days now… We need your help to save his life! Despite being a wonderful dog who loves people, other dogs, long walks, and cuddles, Buddy is at risk for shelter euthanasia if the right foster or adopter is not found very soon! Buddy is just over a year old, is around 50lbs, neutered, and has been in the shelter since 10/9/23! He was found roaming a busy intersection in Cerritos, CA where a passerby tethered him by leash next to a local department store. Sadly, no one ever came forward to claim Buddy. This pup is a shelter volunteer favorite, absolutely loves life, and deserves to live it freely in a safe and loving home filled with playtime and cuddles! He is starting to become stressed in the shelter setting after so long. Please contact Frost Fund via email (teamfrostfund@gmail.com) if you would like to schedule a time to go meet Buddy at the Long Beach Animal Care Shelter or for any questions. Frost Fund will help to provide you with the best visiting experience possible, offer you discounted training packages through their partner trainer, and provide you with a few adopter/foster starter goodies should you fall in love and choose to save Buddy’s life! Again, please do not bother the person kindly sharing this post with questions –  BUT REACH OUT TO FROST FUND DIRECTLY SO WE CAN ASSIST. Our instagram is @Frost_Fund if you want to see more posts and videos of Buddy in action. (His animal ID number with LBACS is A708546.) THANK YOU FOR RESHARING THIS TO HELP SAVE HIS LIFE!!
