Please Help: RLR Announcement for Mako & Winter

Hello Frost Fund family! We are urgently asking that you take a few minutes to share our latest Red List Rescue pups within your networks. Mako and Winter are looking for their individual adopters and to save their lives. Mako has a euthanasia date of 11/17/23. Winter has been at the shelter for a year in December and is their longest stay animal. As such, she is in urgent need of adoption. Both of these pups are incredibly good with people and other dogs! Neither are deserving of a life cut short because we didn’t take the effort or time to share and advocate! SO: We are asking you to take 2 minutes to simply screen shot and share their details/photos below with as many family or friends as you can. You could also send them this link directly which explains more about each pup. Tell them to reach out to Frost Fund (teamfrostfund@gmail.com) if they are interested or able to help! Thank you for being the difference. They are depending on you!

Winter (above): Winter is a German shep mix and is the longest stay dog at the shelter. She will have been at LBACS for a year this December! She is 3 years old, spayed, and came in as a stray. Winter is great with both dogs and kids and has even attended shelter adoption events where she regularly interacts with both! We are hoping to get Winter out before December as she has been in the shelter for far too long and is in urgent need of adoption. Let’s make Winter’s holidays extra special by finding her the perfect home this year!

Mako (above): A handsome 2 year old Belgian mix who is on the smaller side. Mako was found as a stray on 9/21/23. He is regularly included in play groups and is great with both other dogs and people – as he shows no prey drive and loves to play! Mako loves being friendly, playing fetch, and carrying toys around the yard. Mako also loves going on walks and hanging out with guests in the shelter play yard. Upon intake, he was 55lbs – but due to shelter stress he is losing weight. He is not neutered but the shelter generally can provide financial assistance to have neutering done at a local clinic. Mako must be adopted by 11/17/23. Let’s find him his home!! His animal ID number is A707234.
