MONTY

Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting Monty!
We’re so grateful you’re considering becoming Monty’s forever family! To help Frost Fund and K9 Drew find the best possible match for Monty, we ask that you complete the application below as honestly and thoroughly as possible. Every submission will be carefully reviewed.
If we believe you’re a great fit, we’ll reach out to schedule a Zoom interview and request a brief virtual home check.
Meet Monty
Monty is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix with a courageous spirit and the most adorable prance. After spending over 220 days in a shelter, Monty was rescued by Frost Fund and has since been given a second chance at life thanks to the dedication of our partner trainer, Andrew (K9 Drew), and generous supporters.
Since January of 2025, Monty has been given time, love, training, and top-tier care in Andrew’s home. He’s learned how to decompress, engage in healthy socialization, and trust again—all supported by limited donations to Frost Fund and a lot of heart. He knows basic commands, leash walking, and is crate trained. Plus great with dogs and cats.
Make sure to view more of Monty’s videos on our Instagram @frost_fund and YouTube page!
What Monty Needs
Monty is an intelligent dog who thrives with love and daily activity. He loves to play, go on walks, and would do best with someone who can give him both love and play time each day. Monty gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people. He will simply need a little time to adjust into a new home, a kennel to continue having his own space, and lots of love.
