Hello to the wonderful parents of the Girl Scout group Frost Fund gets to speak with this week. Firstly, I want to say thank you for the importance you have placed on teaching the girls about animal wellness. It is so important for not only their current knowledge, but their relationship with animals to come! Being able to help teach youth and kids about animal care is such an honor and truly brings me joy.

And as shared during the chat, I can’t wait to get a group(s) of the girls together to read to the animals at the Long Beach shelter one day soon. This is one of the best hands on ways to provide shelter animals with love and attention they direly need and I am looking forward to helping coordinate.

Frost Fund is a 501C3 nonprofit whose mission is to provide hope and resources to animals and the people protecting them. To date, we have saved over 50 animals from red list euthanasia at local shelters, including 25 dogs from the Long Beach Animal Care Shelter and over 30 cats from the overcrowded Riverside, Downey, and Lancaster shelters.

The red list is the list that over 100,000 cats and dogs in CA alone are placed on before euthanized if not adopted. Frost Fund saves lives through advocacy, transporting animals to safer conditions at out of state partnering shelters, finding adopters, and assisting in times of emergency response. I would love if you would take 5 minutes to watch the two videos below and learn more about some of our recent life saving rescues!

As a nonprofit, our ability to continue saving animal lives depends on support and donations from the community. So, I would love to keep you updated on animal news and volunteer opportunities through our website. If you’re interested, please provide your information below and we will add you to our Frost Fund family announcements. Feel free to include any notes in the comment section regarding specific interests or questions you might have. PS: We promise Frost Fund won’t spam you!

At the bottom of this page, you’ll also find our transport vehicle request form. We’re actively fundraising and seeking vehicle donations to help us rescue more shelter animals before they face euthanasia.

If you’d like to contribute to this cause or know someone who might, please reach out to us and/or share the document.

We have several easy ways to make a tax deductible donation today. Thank you in advance for considering doing so and your giving. It truly saves lives and will help us continue to educate more youth to come:
