Hello! Please read the important notes below before contacting:

Although we wish we could help every shelter animal in the world, right now we are a small team and dedicated to helping cats and dogs locally in our community from shelters we have developed relationships with. We also choose to focus on one animal at a time when advocating to give each animal the most focus and positive outcome possible. When we have the opportunity to open up listings for more red listed animals, we absolutely will and subscribers to our website will be notified.

Until then, we kindly ask messages requesting shelter reposting or help with surrendering/rehoming of animals not to be sent. If you need to surrender your pet, please consider doing the following before giving to a shelter:

  1. Talk to friends and family who might be able to help.
  2. Post about the animal and your need for help on the Nextdoor app. Include photos.
  3. Google search rescues (not shelters) near to you that might be able to help.
  4. Ask yourself if there is anything YOU can do to help the situation and keep your pet.

If your message is about adopting, rescuing, or fostering a red listed animal that we are currently advocating for, please include “Red List Rescue” as the subject line of your email.

If your message is about collaborating on an educational project, fundraiser, or a Sweat to Protect event, please include “Collaborate” as the subject line of your email.

For any other contact purposes, please type a fitting subject!

We look forward to hearing from you!!
