This story taken from our Instagram post on 1/23/25: Here is a sneak peek at 3 of the over 15 cats Frost Fund will be transporting from LA shelters this Saturday amidst the ongoing fires.

This week, we rescued 3 cats (Haru, Carrot, and Poppins) from the Palmdale and Lancaster shelters. Each of these kitties is now safe with their incredible fosters until the trip!

On Saturday, Best Friends LA will be bringing another large group of cats to us for transport to our friends at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions!

There is so much planning, scheduling, and reviewing that goes into a transport of this size. And as a USDA certified 501C3 nonprofit, Frost Fund wants to make sure no corners are cut and that each animal is provided with specific love and care; before, during, and after their rescue. The best part of these transports is seeing the lives saved. The hardest part is also seeing what animals in shelters and in times of crisis must go through before finding a loving home. But, we keep our eyes on the mission ahead and know ultimately they are now safe and heading to their forever home!
