We’ve been working so hard the past few weeks to coordinate, network, & plan the rescue transport of cats from the LA region amidst the heartbreaking fires. & we are so excited to finally share that the plans have been made & the team is finalized!

Frost Fund is partnering with some amazing organizations to make this transport happen: We will be picking up cats from @bfas_la & @palmdaleanimalslaco – all shelters in the LA region. We will then be driving these babies to our new friends at @homewardboundcats in Vegas. We could not be more thankful for both of these incredible groups. And to the volunteers fosters/drivers who have stepped up to help: @maliavphs @mama_riffey @suzannatalie @coops_and_stables

How will this rescue help? Firstly, we are helping Best Friends LA open up more space within their adoption center to take in additional cats from LA shelters. This alone is huge, as cats (like dogs) in CA are overwhelming shelters especially during times of crisis.

Secondly, we are taking these angels to the free roaming @homewardboundcats adoption center, where they will be loved and quickly adopted.

Frost Fund is incredibly grateful to be part of this team making such a large rescue happen & helping shelters during one of the hardest times humans & animals in LA have faced.
