Our Frost Fund CEO Speaks at Amigos De Los Ninos Grant Award Ceremony

As we continue to reflect on our blessings, one of the greatest honors Frost Fund had last year was being both a grant recipient and a featured speaker at the Amigos De Los Ninos grant award ceremony. This incredible organization donates thousands of dollars every year to smaller and growing nonprofits striving to make a big difference in communities. And while their emphasis is placed on youth engagement, they believed so much in Frost Fund’s youth internship program that they blessed us with $7,000.00 to help us bring on board the 2025 intern squad and take steps towards accomplishing our larger mission.

I was able to share with those in attendance about the shelter crisis and how Frost Fund is using hope and focused efforts to make a difference and educate young minds. Because even if we keep saving more and more animals- if we don’t get the public and youth to care, our efforts will never reach their full potential.

This day was a HUGE deal and we are so thankful for the Amigos De Los Ninos organization for choosing us as one of their grant recipients. They are our biggest single grant yet!

When I started this nonprofit, I knew that youth had to be an integral component of it from day one. My passion for teaching, leading, and inspiring the next generation to go after what they too are passionate about is integral to what Frost Fund does and how we do it. I might be biased, but I think it’s pretty darn cool to see these young minds come together in a professional, team focused, learning environment to help turn our wheels and expand our mission.

Also – I was SO EXCITED to meet Misty May at this event and hear more about her story. Praying to collab in 2025!

A special thank you to Whitney Dressler-who introduced Frost Fund to Amigos De Los Ninos and is just an all around incredible human herself. She is proof that one person taking the time to care about what others are doing can change the course for many more lives to come. I love you, Whitney!

Thankful to Jesus for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what else he has in store for next year.
