As we look forward to the new year ahead – we wanted to share some special moments we have been so thankful for. Starting with our rescue of 11 cats from an overcrowded shelter in Riverside amidst the devastating Airport Fire earlier this year. These precious angels were either brought in during the fires with no home or had been waiting an adopter for months in the crowded shelter.
We reached out to our friends at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley who allowed us to transport these angels from their small kennels to freedom and quick adoption in Colorado! What may have taken more months or ended in euthanasia, proved a happy ending and forever new life for these cats in Boulder. We absolutely live for moments like this.
And thanks to our incredible supporting Frost Fund family and journalists like Amanda Starrantino – we were able to garner quick financial support to make this happen. That’s one of the most beautiful parts of nonprofit work – seeing the community step up to do much needed good.
We hope that our donation requests to many @mercedesbenzvansusa dealerships will eventually be granted – so that we can do larger life-saving transports on a more frequent basis in 2025. In addition to a Mercedes Sprinter Vehicle, This will take building more out of state shelter partnerships and continued donations to make possible. But we believe it will all happen in God’s timing and with YOUR support.
If you know anyone with connections to Mercedes-Benz Vans USA or Mercedes-Benz – please share our need with them. We have a formal donation request document we would be happy to share if you can provide us with a contact/email!
