I am so grateful and blown away to share this 22nd Red List Rescue reel for our sweet Mags… Frost Fund family – you guys sharing, commenting, reposting, and tagging made this possible. On many different platforms and within your beautiful networks. Thank you.
The adopter shared with me that Mag’s original Frost Fund red list rescue reel appeared in their reel feed. However, we have no mutual friends/followers and THE ONLY REASON THIS HAPPENED – is because all of us pulled together to share, comment, and increase the likelihood of her rescue reel appearing in other people’s algorithms. THIS PROVES EVERY CONNECTION AND EFFORT MATTERS. Even if it’s not someone immediately in your network who sees – your sharing, commenting, and overall “boosting” of red list rescue posts can increase the likelihood of it being seen by new eyes.
After over 150 days bouncing in and out of the shelter and being placed on the urgent list – just one step away from the red list and euthanasia – we were able to find her a wonderful adopting couple and sister! While all shelter animals have different stories – Mags is so special and equally deserving of the time to decompress, heal, and know what true committed love means.
Every animal deserves to know this. Please adopt. Don’t shop. The journey may take a little more work – but put yourself in their paws… if you were held in a cage for 6+ months with minimal exercise, uncomfortable places to lay, and minimal healthcare, wouldn’t you want someone to fight for your freedom and to love you?
This is the beauty of rescuing. Thank you to her adopters who have promised not to give up on her, to treat her well, and to grow with her. And to every single one of you who is part of the Frost Fund family and who has helped us save her life!!
♥️Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayers and the grace you have shown for Mags.
