Urgent Red List Rescue announcement for MAGPIE!! 🚨Let’s save this beautiful girl and find her a home in time for CHRISTMAS, Frost Fund fam!

Magpie is a spayed, 10 month old, Australian Cattle dog mix who was found as a stray and is currently at the Long Beach Animal Care Shelter. She is incredibly smart, easy to walk on a leash, athletic, and loves to play. She also gets along well with other dogs! Magpie has been in the Long Beach Animal Care shelter since July of this year. She is incredibly sweet and loves all the male and female volunteers she spends her days with at the shelter – in fact – she is one of their favorites!

As you can see in the video below, she reacts well with people who she newly meets. They just need to give her the chance to get to know them and the kind treatment she deserves. (Both males in this reel she had met for the first time the day the videos were filmed.)

Unfortunately, since entering the shelter in July, Magpie was returned by two adopters who were unable to commit to the love, patience, and training she needed to overcome her past and hesitation around new men. This has lead to her being listed as “urgent” at the shelter which is just one step prior to the Red List. This 10 month old pup does NOT deserve euthanasia.

She is so incredibly sweet and after spending a full day with her taking her to play yards, Home Depot, and in car rides – I KNOW just how incredible and sweet she is. The right family for Magpie is out there and we can’t wait to see who that is. Please help us find them by SHARING, COMMENTING ON, TAGGING FRIENDS IN, AND REPOSTING THIS REEL!!!
