These are the kinds of text messages we live for. Check out these messages from Milo’s adopter (our most recent Red List Rescue) and one from his recently onboarded incredible trainer, @zackdevore15 on Instagram of @falco_dog_training_oc.

To us, these messages reveal and confirm several things:

1. How important a dedicated adopter is to the long term success of any animal brought into a new home.

Especially one that has lived for months in a shelter!

1. That patience, understanding, love, and training are all important keys to ensuring a positive relationship between and experience for both adopter and the new furry family member.
2. That reaching out to professionals and making the investment for training and education IS WELL WORTH IT. There is no such thing as a bad dog. With all due respect, there are such things as bad owners who fail to get educated and remain committed to the very animal that depends on them for structure and love.

We are so proud of Milo’s adopter for committing to him AND investing in the training and structure all dogs benefit from in order to have a happy, healthy, safe, and loving adoption!!
