Red List Rescue, Patriot, Has Been Adopted!

The Frost Fund Fam has done another fantastic job at getting the word out and giving our Red List Rescue’s the best chance at a forever family life as possible. After an exciting visit to Chapman University, one student that had the opportunity to spend time with patriot expressed interest in adopting him. He messaged us a few days later and confirmed a meeting time the next day for patriot.

However, Friday afternoon we received information from one of our shelter contacts that Patriot had just been adopted by a veteran who had come to visit him earlier in the week. This just goes to show, you never know what plans are being made behind the scenes – which is why acting quickly and responsibly in rescue situations is so important! But the story doesn’t stop there.

Our dear friend Amanda Salas featured Patriot on Fox Good Day LA Furry Friday that week. This generated more interest over the weekend, but only one of the parties remained interested in rescuing another animal once they heard about Patriot’s adoption. So, we are in communication with this individual and sent several other precious pups who have been at the shelter for months their way.

They are reviewing and we are praying that Patriot’s adoption will lead to the adoption of another incredible dog and life saved.

Below are some pictures taken during Patriot’s visit with the students at Chapman. Thank you for helping Frost Fund continue our mission to save these precious animals’ lives.
