RED LIST RESCUE ANNOUNCEMENT! Alright @frost_fund family, it is time to get to work by tagging, sharing, and commenting on this post to help us find sweet 2 year old Patriot’s forever family and save his life! I have personally met Patriot and have seen how incredibly sweet he is. He is neutered, loves to have hugs, cuddle, and give “paws” to those he meets. Patriot has been at the Long Beach Animal Care Shelter in California since June of 2024 after being found roaming as a stray around a local dog park. Over the past few months of being in and out of the shelter, I have also personally seen his spirit slowly start to degrade while sitting over 100 days in a kennel waiting for love. His adoption is LONG over due and Frost Fund wants to see him go to the best home. One with plenty of space to play ball, a family able to give him life long attention and care, and happiness that every dog deserves.

We have seen Patriot walk near cats and he has shown no aggression, just tail wags and controlled interest. Additionally, Patriot has been in dog play groups and gets along well with other kind pups! From what we have seen, we believe that he will be great with kids and in a family setting. Of course, with the proper amount of time to transition and decompress that all shelter dogs must have.

This sweet boy carries with him months of stress and YET is still so sweet to people IN and OUT of his kennel at the shelter. Let’s find him a home as quickly and efficiently as we can.
