Hey family!! This week we are discussing the importance of animal sanctuaries and how they are different from zoos. (So, if you didn’t already read this week’s post by Stone Heinze, make sure to do so.) In addition, we wanted to feature one of our past amazing educational mini documentaries about the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado. This incredible refuge is home to wild animals rescued from the black market, hoarding situations, improper enclosures, closed down zoos, and so many other tragic situations. Not to mention, they have set the world record for the longest raised walkway!
