Frost Fund’s First Three Month Recap!

Hi Frost Fund Fam! We would like to highlight the amazing achievements we have accomplished over our first 3 months as a non profit! All of course with the help of our dedicated supporters, friends, and family (like you)!

Over the summer, we hosted our first Sweat to Protect event in support of Priceless Pet Rescue. This event allowed us to raise a total of $900.00 – of which we donated $450.00 to the Priceless Pet Rescue Vet Clinic in memory of Frost.

We also raised enough funds to donate $200.00 worth of enrichment items to the Priceless Pet Farm! If you didn’t get to see the short video of us doing so and some cute animals, check it out here.

Additionally, we pitched a grant proposal to Bixby Land Company; which ultimately resulted in our first successful grant award generating funds for continued intern growth and education!

So far, we have published five educational blog posts covering problems facing both domestic and wild animals. From the soon to be finalized Wildlife Crossing in LA to the status of shelter animals across the country.

We also shared four motivational podcasts providing encouragement beyond just the world of animal conservation.

Additionally, we conducted two insightful educational interviews with outside non-profit CEOs – like John Ramer of Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary and Lisa Sprague of Priceless Pets.

Perhaps most importantly, we have helped to save the lives of six dogs: We assisted Kindness Ranch in picking up four beagles that were rescued from laboratory testing and the illegal China meat trade. We also saved two shelter dogs from euthanasia and advocated to find them forever homes through the Red List Rescue program.

Snickerdoodle and Raven (our Red List Rescues) are two wonderful German Shepards who have found loving families and a new leash on life! In the case of Raven, we were also able to raise $950.00 in less than three days to schedule and execute her removal from the shelter and transport to her adopters in Las Vegas.

Overall, our first three months as a non profit have been incredibly successful, impactful, and quite the learning experience for us all.

Frost Fund has grown both as an organization and internally as a team. Undoubtedly, this growth is due to the experiences and donations we have received from our dedicated supporters.

So, from all of us at Frost Fund, thank you for your continued love, financial contributions, red list advocacy, and event attendance when possible!

With your participation, we will only continue to expand and grow Frost Fund and its impact.

We have exciting plans currently being strategized for what is to come – so stay tuned!
